Unit 1
Introduction to French
- The alphabet and basic pronunciation
- Greetings and introductions
- Nationalities and professions.
- Subject pronouns.
- Basic verbs: être and avoir (present tense).
Unit 2
Vocabulary and Basic Phrases
- Numbers (0-100).
- Days of the week, months of the year, and seasons.
- Courtesy expressions: Merci, s’il vous plaît, excusez-moi.
- Definite and indefinite articles: le, la, les, un, une, des.
- Gender and number of nouns.
Unit 3
Family and Relationships
- Family members: père, mère, frère, sœur, etc.
- Possessive adjectives: mon, ma, mes, ton, ta, tes.
- Basic description of people: grand, petit, jeune, vieux.
- Regular verbs ending in -er: parler, aimer, habiter (present tense).
Unit 4
Home and City
- Places in the city: école, magasin, parc, boulangerie, etc.
- Parts of the house: salon, chambre, cuisine, salle de bain.
- Prepositions of place: sur, sous, dans, devant, derrière.
- Introduction to the verbs aller and venir.
Unit 5
Time and Daily Routines
- Telling time: Quelle heure est-il ?
- Daily routines and common activities: se lever, manger, travailler, dormir.
- Adverbs of frequency: toujours, souvent, parfois, jamais.
- Basic reflexive verbs.
Unit 6
Food and Shopping
- Vocabulary related to food and drinks.
- Shopping and ordering at a restaurant:
- Introduction to the verb prendre.
- Irregular plurals.
Unit 7
Talking About the Present and Near Future
- Present tense construction with regular and irregular verbs.
- Near future: aller + infinitif.
- Time expressions: aujourd’hui, demain, ce soir, bientôt.
Unit 8
Culture and Leisure
- Vocabulary related to cultural activities: cinema, music, sports.
- Talking about likes and preferences: J’aime, je préfère, je déteste.
- Related verbs: faire, jouer.
Unit 9
Basic Comprehension and Expression
- Understanding simple texts (letters, emails).
- Writing simple sentences.
- Introduction to basic questions
Unit 10
Review and Final Practice
- Review of all topics
- Dialogues and practical simulations.
- Preparation for oral, written, and grammatical comprehension evaluation.
