Introduction to Portuguese

  • - Use of accents and diacritics

Module 2

Basic Introductions

  • Greetings and farewells
  • - Courtesy expressions: Olá, tchau, obrigado(a)
  • Introducing oneself and asking for personal information
  • - Name, age, nationality
  • - Common expressions: Como você se chama? De onde você é?
  • Numbers and dates
  • - Counting from 1 to 100
  • - Dates and days of the week

Module 3

Fundamental Grammar

  • Personal pronouns
  • - Subject and direct/indirect object pronouns
  • Conjugation of regular verbs in the present tense
  • - Verbs ending in -ar, -er, -ir
  • Adjectives and agreement

Basic Communication
